ByT Argentina travel & housing is a Travel Agency (file 11105 disposition 1373), with offices in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We are active members of AVIABUE (Association of travel agencies of Buenos Aires) and of AAAVYT (Argentine Association of Travel agencies and tourism).

The first version of this site was created in October of 1998 with the intention of offering organized information on alternative living arrangements in the city of Buenos Aires. At that time, the housing network was made up of placements in family homes and university residences. For that reason, our services were used mostly by students coming to Buenos Aires to learn Spanish, to take part in foreign exchange programs, or to work for local businesses.

Temporary lodging: Over time, ByT Argentina began to specialize in advising on housing for academic institutions, embassies, and businesses with offices in Buenos Aires. By this means, our housing network grew considerably, with the incorporation of furnished apartments, hotels, apart hotels, etc. Currently, ByT Argentina presents a select and diverse housing network. Every location has been personally visited by a member of our staff, who decides whether or not to incorporate it into the network, based on an evaluation of the quality of the infrastructure and services offered to guests.

The personalized services provided to each of the guests that have visited us have permitted us to add a Guest Book to our site. It is our desire that this collection of the experiences of many of our previous guests can be shared with those who plan to visit the city in the future. This book is also intended to serve as an information exchange between travelers from different parts of the world.

In the city of Buenos Aires: City tours, Tigre and Delta tours, A Day in a Farm (Gaucho Festival), Historical City Tours, Tango Show, Car Rental and Transfers.

In the main Argentine destinations: Iguazú falls, Bariloche, Perito Moreno Glacier-Patagonia, Ushuaia, Valdés Peninsula and Argentine Salta-Norwest, including flights, transportation on arrival, housing and sightseeing. We also have adventure tourism options with several activities such as: rafting, trekking, bicycling, 4WB off road, ridding, sailing, wild life watching, etc.
